Trust & Security

How TekLedger protects your data

This page describes TekLedger's currently documented security architecture and operating practices. Supporting architecture, configuration, policy, and contractual information is available to qualified customers during diligence.

Hosting and infrastructure

Where your data lives

TekLedger is designed to run on Vercel with data services on AWS infrastructure located in the United States. Under the standard service configuration, customer data is intended to remain in the United States.

The platform is designed for logical isolation per customer account so that one account's data is not accessible to or commingled with another. Specific isolation and tenancy details are covered in diligence documentation available under NDA.

Data ownership and use

Your data remains yours

Data ownership

You retain ownership of all data provided to TekLedger. TekLedger uses customer data only to deliver, secure, support, and improve the service as described in the customer agreement.

AI and model training

TekLedger’s standard operating practice is that customer data is not used to train shared AI models. When AI is used to analyze or structure data, the intended configuration uses customer-provided API keys or a private model setup that does not send customer data into shared training pipelines. Contractual terms govern the final arrangement.

Data deletion

Customer data can be deleted upon request and at contract end. Specific retention periods are documented in the customer agreement.

Subprocessors

TekLedger uses a limited set of third-party services to deliver the platform. A current subprocessor list is available on request.

Security practices

Currently documented security practices

The following summarizes TekLedger's currently documented security architecture and operating practices. TekLedger holds no third-party security certification at this time and does not describe any practice below as independently verified. Supporting detail is available to qualified customers during diligence.

Data protection

TekLedger is designed to rely on the encryption and network protections provided by its hosting and data platforms for data in transit and at rest. Specific configuration details are covered in the technical security overview available under NDA for enterprise reviews.

Access controls

Access to customer data within TekLedger is designed to be controlled by role, with staff access intended to follow a least-privilege approach and to be logged. Implementation details are available during diligence.

Incident response

TekLedger maintains a documented incident response process. Customers are notified of material data incidents as required by applicable law and as described in the customer agreement. Response-time commitments, when applicable, are set out in that agreement.

Backup and recovery

Customer data is intended to be backed up on a regular schedule. Recovery objectives and procedures, when applicable, are documented in the service description or customer agreement.

Security reviews

We support standard enterprise vendor risk assessment processes and can provide documentation including security questionnaire responses, data flow diagrams, and architecture overviews upon request under NDA.
